Most people go into education for a simple reason: they love teaching, and they want to see more kids learning and developing. We all know those magic moments when students are in flow, working together, and having those “a-ha” moments when the light goes on.

Those moments can be transformational and can happen anywhere — during the school day, after school, at home, with friends. So how can we make more of them? And how can we make it easy for all teachers to create them with their students?

That’s what motivates the team at 10story Learning. We’re a team of experienced educators and learning scientists, working to create transformational learning experiences in every classroom.

Our chief project designer, Howie Templer, spent years in the classroom developing hands-on math & STEM challenges that his students loved -- so much that in 2018, Howie was recognized with the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math & Science teaching.

Our co-founder and creative director, Jenny Meyerhoff, is a veteran teacher and award-winning children's author who specializes in learning during out-of-school time. Jenny has worked closely with school districts to implement creative problem-solving activities in afterschool settings.

Our co-founder and CEO, Dr. Peter Meyerhoff, is a learning scientist and curriculum designer. Peter’s research on project-based STEM shows that students in nontraditional learning environments can acquire complex skills and develop identities as experts and leaders.

As a team, we’re working to give teachers and students fun, collaborative math & STEM activities … and create more of those “a-ha” moments. We’re getting incredible feedback about our projects, including dramatic stories about disengaged students who developed confidence and skills while working on our projects.
